About MeHello, my name is Tyler!
I'm 7 years old and I love going to the beach and collecting shells and rocks. I've always had a condition known as asthma ever since I was young. Asthma is when your throat and chest tighten and it makes it hard to breathe when you do too much exercise or encounter certain allergens/irritants. I have to try not to breathe in any irritants or exhaust myself or I will need to use my inhaler. |
About Asthma
Asthma is a chronic lung disease that makes it harder to breathe.
It can be triggered by physical exhaustion or breathing in allergens and pollens.
Like allergies, asthma can range from being mild to severe
Asthma symtoms range from coughing, difficulty breathing, chest pain/tightness, shortness of breath, wheezing and even faintness and loss of consciousness.

Dealing With Asthma
Every day I have to be careful of my condition and stay alert.
I have to use my brain and make sure I don’t go anywhere were there would be a lot of things that could make me sick.
I also need to make sure I don’t do too much strenuous exercise so I don't have an asthma attack.
I always carry an inhaler which helps me breathe if I have a bad asthma attack.
