About MeHello, my name is Tris!
I'm 8 years old and I love karate and animals. I've always had a moderately severe allergy to latex since I was younger. My allergy can make me cough, wheeze, get hives(bumpy red rash), have a runny or blocked nose and make it hard to breathe. I have to stay away from things that contain latex because I don’t want to have a reaction. |

Dealing With My Allergy
Every day I have to be careful of my allergy and stay alert.
With my allergy I need to check things that I think might have latex in them or I could get sick.
It is especially important to let the school nurse, my doctor, my dentist and any other medical professional I go to see know about my allergy so I don’t have a reaction.
